60th ANNIVERSARY 1944 -2004
On 6th June 2004, the Legion will mark the 60th anniversary of D-Day. The 60th anniversary is our nation's opportunity to thank our D-Day heroes: it's our chance to remember those who fell on the beaches and those who made it home that we will never forget what they did for us.
The Legion was founded in 1921 as a voice for the ex-Service community and their 550,000 members continue to ensure that this voice does not go unheard.
